in this thickened swamp, we wade
for the longest time.
its hard not to feel this way.
its like my body begins taking root
in an all to familiar room.
letting my leaves die
from isolation between myself
and this comforting terrain.

there are much bigger things
to worry for.
but, who would want to wait for them?

in a landscape to repeat itself
